2.2 Information collected automatically

• Device information (operating system version, device model, app version)
• Device identifiers and IP address for abuse prevention and rate limiting (including external IP lookup)
• App usage data (features used, time spent, video views)
• Performance and diagnostic data (app crashes, errors)
• Cache data (downloaded video content for offline viewing)
• Usage counters used to determine when to show advertisements (for non‑premium users)
• Push notification tokens (e.g., Firebase Cloud Messaging token) to deliver notifications (if enabled)
• Basic web server logs for the website (for example: IP address, request time, and requested page)

2.3 Anonymous dictionary search analytics (app)

• We may log dictionary searches with sanitized query text, timestamp, selected category/language, result count, and whether matches were found.
• Search analytics do not store your email or user ID. They are used in aggregate to identify missing words and improve content coverage.

2.4 Premium subscriptions and purchases

• Subscription type (monthly/yearly) and subscription status (active/inactive)
• Store receipts and purchase records are processed by Google Play / Apple App Store. We do not receive your payment card details.

4.1 Google Firebase (Google LLC)

• Cloud Functions (backend logic such as subscription/role updates)
• Firebase Cloud Messaging (push notifications)

4.2 Google Mobile Ads (AdMob)

• We use AdMob to show ads to non‑premium users (for example interstitial and rewarded ads).
• AdMob may collect advertising identifiers and interaction data to provide ads.

4.3 App stores (payments)

• Google Play Billing (Android) and Apple In‑App Purchase (iOS) process subscription payments.
• We do not store payment card information.

4.4 Donations (website)

• If you donate using links on our website, the payment is processed by the selected provider (e.g., Stripe / Ko‑Fi / Buy Me a Coffee).
• We do not receive your payment card details from these providers.

5.1 Local storage (device)

• Settings, favorites, and cached videos may be stored on your device.
• Some counters/session data may be stored locally for guest users.

5.2 Cloud storage (Firebase)

• Account and profile information is stored in Firebase services.
• Subscription status and access flags may be stored in Firestore.
• Usage counters and anonymous search analytics may be stored in Firestore.

5.3 Retention

• Local data is removed when you uninstall the app (unless you backed it up separately).
• Account data is retained until you request account deletion.
• Some records may be retained for legal/accounting reasons where required (for example store transaction records held by the stores).

• Access and change some preferences in the app
• Control notification permissions in your device settings
• Cancel subscriptions via Google Play / App Store settings
